Like thousands of people who have bitten the Apple, I decided to give iCloud a go, see what happens. OK the photos from Westfields were magically there in iPhoto – nice.
Then, when checking what else might be automatically zinging around the Cloud, I noticed the Documents & Data bit in iCloud Settings is checked. I uncheck it. Up comes an alert which says, “If you uncheck Documents & Data all documents and data in iCloud will be removed from this Mac.”
Which sounds terrifying, as I don’t even know what documents from the Mac are now in the Cloud. I hit Google. First up comes this page from gdgt.com. Why am I sharing this geekery with you? Check the first comment!
